Alen Babic gave an unusual speech at the press conference ahead of his fight with Eric Molina this Saturday as he declared that he wants to be knocked out.
The unbeaten Croatian heavyweight has quickly become a fan favourite in the UK after initially emerging on the scene as a sparring partner for Dillian Whyte.
Whyte signed Babic to his management stable and has been putting him on his undercards.
The 30-year-old all-action brawler is now 8-0 (8 KOs).
However, according to him, he wants to get rid of that ‘0’.
“Listen, I wanna be knocked out,” he began in the bizarre rant.
“How can you be fearful when I want to be defeated?
“I crave it. Please defeat me, somebody, please. I crave it, I want it, I love it.
“I wanna take that f***ing zero off my f***ing record, I don’t like it.
“You take it, f*** you zero.
“I’m sick and tired of this, ‘Oh, you’re gonna lose.’
“Yeah of course I’m gonna lose, I’ve lost 10,000 times in my life…
“I was 28 years old and I didn’t have money for bread so I’m not afraid to f***ing [lose] my zero.
“Knock me out right now, it’s okay.”
He later added: “Knock me out, come on, I want it, I crave it.
“I crave it, knock me the f*** out, I wanna sleep for ten days…
“I just want somebody to beat me. Is that so hard? Just beat the s*** out of me…
“If the worthy one comes and knocks the f*** out of me, I’m gonna be happy and I’m gonna say thank you.”
